SHINE for Your Future, a program within Collins Home Family Services, exists to Serve, Heal, Inspire, Nurture and Empower at risk and vulnerable youth who are transitioning from foster and orphan care or impoverished environments through the love of community and ministry of Jesus. 

SHINE’s mission is to provide necessities that will make a positive change in the life of at-risk youth and young adults  by creating a bridge from their current environment to a future that provides a stable, healthy and secure life. Our Building a Bridge Program consists of Life Coaching/Mentors,  Education and Life Skills which are needed to successfully transition into adulthood and lead to employment opportunities, providing a path for a stable and happy future. With a focus on providing education, career and skills development, SHINE endeavors to ensure that these young adults are given real-life skills to be contributing members of their local community.
